Tuesday and Wednesday I will be in Montgomery, Alabama (Lord willing) to visit the Faulkner Lectures. I’ve never been to these particular lectures and I’m looking forward to seeing several friends. Hopefully I’ll be able to post some photos when I get back. In an unusual move, I will not be bringing my trusty laptop along for the ride. So, I do not think there will be a new post until late Wednesday night. I wonder if any readers will be at the lectures? I’ll give a review when I get back.
I did go to the doctor today and he OK’d the trip as long as I wasn’t driving. Cool with me. I have felt much better today. I have some antibiotics flowing through my system. We had a great recovery class tonight with lots of good discussion and honest sharing. So far it’s been a wonderful experience … even though there is some pain in being so honest about our faults.
Some have asked about helping the Strunk family (who lost their 16 year old daughter in the tornado a few days ago … members at College Avenue Church of Christ in Enterprise, AL). The minister there, Keith Ellis, says if you want to help the best thing to do is call the church office with an inquiry of what is needed. Number: (334) 347-8917
That’s not much of a blogpost I suppose, but that’ll have to do for now. Thanks for all the encouraging comments in the last post.
