Have you ever considered how noisy heaven must be? From the descriptions given to us we know there are rivers, angels, choruses of worship and praise to God.
I can’t imagine heaven being anything but a very noisy and active place, even as it is a place of ultimate Shalom … peace, harmony, wholeness. One verse mentions the roar of a great multitude.
After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for true and just are his judgments. ~Revelation 19:1-2
And not only the roars of praise and honor to the King, just the immense number of created beings surrounding the Father.
But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. ~Hebrews 13:22, 23
Have you ever considered that in all of the noise of heaven, a hush must fall over the environment as a child kneels down to pray a simple prayer? That God can hear our prayers is amazing enough, but the power of prayer is demonstrated as the words spoken from a broken heart transcend all of the noise of heaven and are brought to the ears of our Abba who loves us so dearly.
Do not give up praying. Never think there is a ceiling to your prayers. Because when you pray all the noise of heaven grows silent. (Tweet That!) Your Father wants to hear you speak to Him and share that time together.
