We’ve all had to face something that’s really hard. Some have had to climb mountains that looked impassable … some with success … others falling off the cliffs of failure. Life can get complicated without much notice and the challenging circumstances we face can feel over-whelming. Our Goliaths might look different for each of us.

The list is endless, but it’s a powerful list. I’ve seen too many people go down for the count. I want to encourage you to face these challenges with the help of God. His mercy, His healing, His strength, His presence will see you through. But it can be scary sometimes wondering if we’re fighting all alone.

For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd;‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’[b] ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’[

I’m facing a giant myself this week. I plan to walk along in faith, not knowing where it takes me. And that’s sometimes scary.

I was listening to Spotify’s playlist called Songs To Get You Through and a song called His Name started playing. From the start it caught my attention… There’s a Father when your father walks away … a friend when no one else knows your name … His Name is Jesus.

This song is so encouraging and I post the video here for your encouragement. Whatever big scary challenges you have ahead of you this week do not have to spark fear and defeat in your heart. You have someone who’s fighting with you … and he will never leave your side.

Thanks for reading. JD
