Dump Day a Success!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the mission to feed the people who live at the Tegucigalpa Dump. There is interest in helping move these people from the dump back into the world outside. In the mean time, by feeding the men, women, and children who live there we are expressing the mercy of Christ.

Find out all about it at TREY MORGAN’s blog. In an unexpected move yesterday BREAD FOR A HUNGRY WORLD offered to give a $25,000 donation if Trey was able to raise $25,000. Praise God that money was raised and now the opportunities to minister at the dump are significantly blessed.

Not only is there great monetary value in what happened yesterday, we may never know the spiritual value. I don’t know how many – but many – people fasted for 30 hours. During that time prayers were made asking God to be with this mission and to bless this work. Those of us who believe in the powerful God to whom we pray know that marvelous things were set in motion yesterday. May God be praised for all of them!

It’s not too late to help, of course. You can send donations to
