Greetings Friends! I’m back home from Thanksgiving in the Mississippi Delta. We had a wonderful thanksgiving with family. I have a lot of catching up to do … but I’m looking forward to it.

Happy Birthday Joe DiMaggio, Jenna Bush and Barbara Bush. A big cake for Kahn – otherwise known as Ricardo Montalban. We are also blowing out candles for Donovan McNabb, Amy Grant (the singer, not the blogger), and singer Percy Sledge.

For This Sunday here is something we can all reflect upon … followed by a few links.

Make Me an Instrument of Your Peace

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith,
Where there is despair, hope,
Where there is darkness, light,
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console,
not so much to be understood as to understand,
not so much to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
it is in dying that we awake to eternal life.

– St. Francis of Assisi

The Pope is purging the Vatican of Modern Music. I’m not sure we’re thinking the same thing when we see the term “modern”.

Thanks for reading! Tell me about your Sunday!
