Free Kindle Books I’d Get TODAY!

Recommending books and movies is highly personal. I recommend you bookmark THIS LINK and check it daily for free Kindle books. It is the top 100 bestselling Kindle books. There is a tab for the top 100 FREE books. Then in the left hand column you can narrow down your search. I typically select nonfiction. On that page I sometimes select Religious. And when I’m really adventurous I select Christian. In each category you will get a little different list. Note that these lists are like your local bookstore – there are some unsavory titles there that Christians will likely avoid.

It is interesting to me that books will show up here for a brief period of time, then go back to costing something. I’m sure there’s a marketing strategy there somewhere. But that’s why I check it daily. My Kindle (software on my iPad) is loaded with free books by Lucado, Wiersbe, Fosdick, Peterson, Rainer, Emerson, Omartian,  and many others who are unfamiliar. Of course, I have bought some I felt I really wanted for a particular reason.

I have yet to venture much into the magazine / newspaper world on Kindle. I just haven’t been moved to purchase those yet – but I think it’s a great idea. Keep in mind that you can “sample” most books and see if you really like them enough to purchase. Lately some publishers will even let you ‘loan’ your books – but that’s not been fully embraced.

One of the adventures of owning a Kindle is keeping up with the free books that come available at various times. I hope this gives you a head start in hunting for bargains and freebies that you will enjoy!
