Those statistics are exactly why we’re planting a church, the statement often quoted from C. Peter Wagner remains true, “The single most effective evangelistic methodology under heaven is planting new churches.”

Or as Audrey Malphurs puts it, “It is easier to have a baby than to raise the dead.”

Which is ultimately because our churches refuse (talk is cheap but actions prove)to do what it takes to share Christ’s love with the world.

Sad.

As you said, Christmas is still 15 days away – so you have time. Make plans this early and they’ll probably get changed anyway! I hope to get my tree up sometime between now and then. ;)
