I was guest blogger on Adam Faughn’s blog and wrote this article at his request. Thanks, Adam, for the opportunity to write about something close to my heart.
That was a very good article John ……and much more as you know. We are so often made to feel guilty for grieving and it taking time to work through until some form of normalcy returns (especially in the church where we are often made to feel that we should feel better tomorrow if we have faith and our real goal is not in this life… is usually the inference)…yet pain never leaves. Just not as raw.
People do not know what to say….and yes sometimes it can be odd or hurtful…but it is always done with love and desire to reach out. It is hard to recognize at the time although…as you said.
Thanks for sharing this…it will bless another who is suffering.
Always close in heart!
God be with you both!
In Him;
